How bookclub works

You’ll receive a realistic reading schedule that breaks our read into smaller, manageable pieces to keep you accountable to finishing the book. We’ll be reading together from Oct 6 - Nov 30.

Sign up before Oct 5

From Oct 6 - Nov 30

During this 8-week period, you will be following our reading schedule to complete the book. During this time you will also receive,

~ Weekly Sunday Emails: sent straight to your inbox to help motivate, inspire, and share thoughts around the key themes from our book

~ An Exclusive Reader’s Guide: created exclusively for the Be Squiggly bookclub community by professional life coach, Shannon Waller. The guide provides reflection prompts to help you take your reading to the next level by encouraging you to reflect on key themes and how they can be applied to your own life. We recommend putting aside about 15-30 mins/week to work through the reflection prompts after you finish each section.

~ Access to our Online Community: through an app where you can privately share voice notes, photos, thoughts, and questions with your fellow bookclubbers as you read. This will serve as our hub to get to know each other, share thoughts & feelings, and tips & tricks as we read.

What bookclubbers are saying…

  • Joining bookclub was such a good way to hold myself accountable to my reading goals. I loved how I was able to get a deeper experience out of the book by following Shannon’s guided journaling exercises and reflections each week. Typically when reading personal development books, I learn so much but struggle to put it into practice. The Reading Guides & challenges changed that for me. Can’t wait for the next book!

  • I really enjoyed reading the book in one chapter chunks. It was easy to follow and I looked forward to the Sunday emails! Shannon did an amazing job facilitating book club. Would definitely join again!

Why join bookclub…

  • We’ve all heard the numerous benefits of reading more - from boosting your brain power to helping you relax. But despite knowing the benefits, it can still be hard to develop and stick to a reading habit. Bookclub gives you the structure and accountability needed to make it happen!

  • Reading typically seems like a solo activity, but it doesn’t have to be. Bookclub helps you connect with a group of people who are interested in the same personal growth topics as you. Reading a book together can be a great way to share an experience that helps to build and strengthen friendships. You’ll also get the chance to share ideas and learnings taking your reading experience to the next level!

  • We've all heard people say that this book or that book has changed their lives, well it usually takes more than just a good book, but it’s a great place to start. Reading self-development books helps open our minds to new perspectives and ideas. Books can be great sources of inspiration and motivation to start making changes and improvements in your own life.

  • This is the purpose of bookclub! With the weekly emails, reader’s guides, and community, you’ll be provided with prompts and resources specifically curated to help you take the book’s topics and incorporate them into your own life.

Let’s stay connected
